I am a huge fan of hunting for vintage sewing patterns at thrift stores. Once of my greatest finds ever was a vintage sewing pattern from 1977 featuring "up and coming new designer Betsey Johnson"

But, sometimes you have to force the hand of organic searching. For that, I turn to eBay. I got this great pattern collection on Monday (fast shipping!) and can't wait to put them to good use. I have been making these decoupaged boxes and switchplates, but have had a hard time finding patterns recently. This should be a good boost to the stash.
