my little brother is getting pushed around by the man again. he swam sectionals this weekend as a back-up for the 100 yard butterfly, a stroke he doesn't even swim and made out like a bandit with a junior olympic time.
So he was kept on for post-season with a promise of swimming in the state meet. he thought this was really cool, because he is only a freshman and that is a really big deal. He just found out yesterday (3 days before the meet) that, no, he won't be swimming. this other kid, who is a senior and is a full second slower than him, is going to swim instead. i fully understand letting a senior swim instead if their times are fairly close, but a second is a whole lot of time in swimming.
so i am just really pissed. and my poor brother is bummed.
