just in on my incoming search terms; someone has googled by sister!

beanie and anonymous internet searcher person, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G

and just found a delightful way to spend a good 5 minutes: photoshop-ed album covers, without artist info. how many can you get?
i was able to get 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 23, 25, 26, 31, 36, 37, 40, 52, 53, 54, 56, 58, 59
if you got any that i missed, lemme know. because i am an antsy nancy.
this is kinda like the fun game we used to play when i worked at the music store. it was called "match the cd that some lame ass kid left in the listening station that has bitchin laser printed art, but no artist or album title" yeah. that was a fun game. good times.

i am most certainly going to hell now, and you should give it a whirl as well.

this just popped up on incoming searches to my site
"need a prostitute tonight in chicago suburbs"
yeah, um, no sell that here. maybe next door.

via slashdot:
"Microsoft forgot to renew their hotmail.co.uk domain"
continued at the register:
"As a result, last month Microsoft lost its claim to the domain and it was duly returned to the open market to be picked up by whomever fancied it
Luckily, the domain was snapped up on the same day - October 23. The new owner - a good hearted soul - then proceeded immediately to contact Microsoft, inform the giant of its slip and arrange to hand back the domain.
Of course, while Microsoft's spinstresses tried to stall for time, the company was busy scurrying behind the scenes to sort out this embarrassing episode. It managed to contact hotmail.co.uk's new owner, grovel at their mistake and sort out the mess. By all accounts, hotmail.co.uk will be returned in a few days."
and it gets better....:
"In December 1999, Microsoft forgot to renew the domain name Passport.com, and so rendered its Hotmail service partially crippled. A Linux programmer, Michael Chaney, paid the $35 fee and promptly handed over ownership to Microsoft."
if i were either of these people, i would have held it hostage. just for fun.

looks like we have been bumped. although this definitive list is chock full of debatable surprises (like 39. Riverside and 30. Omaha being ahead of 41. NYC).
Also, since when is 2. Orange County a city? I was under the impression it was an, um, COUNTY?!?
Apparently, Newark has overthrown New Jersey as the new state name. on two occasions:
45. Newark, Newark
47. Bergen-Passaic, Newark
