You know how you always say, "Gee, I wish I could have dinner with a complete and utter stranger?" Well, now you can.
Marc Horowitz craftily placed his home number on a piece of furniture in the Fall Crate & Barrel catalog. From his site:
"In an effort to get another full-fledged national dinner tour off the ground, I have carefully placed my name and cell phone number on a piece of furniture in the Fall 2004 Crate & Barrel catalog (pictured above). This tour is based completely on chance, who will be daring enough to call the number on the piece of furniture?
As of September 18th, I have received about a hundred calls, of which, 33 have committed to dinners with me. The calls range from Portland, MN to my very own San Francisco. My goal is to have a dinner scheduled in every state!"
That is absolutely and totally awesome.
